Only an education that recognizes the spirit in every person will be able to meet the increasing challenges that the world presents us with, and offer constructive solutions. Children are seeking out adults worthy of emulation, who are filled with imagination, inspired by life's lessons, and possess the capacity to love. This is especially true for teachers who, like never before, are called upon to be aware and awake to the general and individual needs of the children put into their care. Teaching out of imagination, inspiration and moral intuition takes immense preparation and dedication. Our program, firmly rooted in the study of anthroposophy and the practice of the various arts, offers a training that will prepare teachers in this lifelong endeavor to educate students in a developmentally appropriate manner. Only teachers who relentlessly continue to pursue self knowledge, and a deeper understanding of the world as such, will be able to foster, promote and nourish dormant capacities within the students, thus helping them to meet life with courage and confidence. And that is the essence of an education based on freedom and selfless love.

The need for Waldorf Teachers is great, and so is the demand for the in- depth training. Financial assistance is imperative to ensure that Waldorf Schools get appropriately qualified teachers. Many excellent candidates are not able to pursue a teacher training program because of financial constraints. Nor can the training offer the needed services without outside help.
